I realize that most Brazilian women think I am a Fashion Aberration. I don't wear high heels, I wear comfortable jeans that allow me to breathe, and I rarely wear make-up. But I may have sunk to a new low today. I was at Fleury to get some lab tests done and got cute sock covers -- booties? -- when I took my shoes off. Now, nine hours after said exams a chicly dressed woman tells me that I have toilet paper in my shoes. No, I said primly, those are my sock covers. Doesn't everyone wear them in their shoes?

Maybe it's because I'm a man, maybe it's because I'm Brazilian but I drew a blank when I read "sock covers". So I turned to my trusty friend Google and this is what came up as the first result:

hahahaha! Okay, yes, I did a terrible job of describing what those are. They are the little sanitary booties so you don't have to put your foot on the hospital or lab floor. Here is a blue example...mine were white!! http://www.shutterpoint.com/Photos-ViewPhoto.cfm?id=711570
